Life Drawing

Instructor: Michelle Bloomer

Dates: 6 weekly sessions on Tuesday, July 20 through Aug. 24.
Times: 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm

Ages: Young Adults & Adults

Price: $65 members; $75 non-members


This class is designed the beginner to the more advanced student and will provide many opportunities for drawing clothed models. Portrait drawing skills will also be emphasized. Students supply their own materials; supply lists are available upon registration. Fee is due at time of registration, payable to Danville Museum of Fine Arts and History. Call 793-5644 to register.

Elements of Art


Instructor: Linda Gourley

Dates: July 12-16, 2010� (This session FULL!� -- Another class will be offered the week of July 4.� Call for details.) ��

Times: 10:00 am – 1:00 pm

Ages: 7 – 12 years

Price: $65


Learn the basic principles behind multiple art forms, including drawing, printmaking, collage, and collagraph. Working with instructor Linda Gourley, students will use various media to create masterpieces that fall into each of these major categories. The difficulty of each project will be geared to the age of the individual student.

Oodles of Doodles

Instructor: Karan Johnson

Dates: Tuesday, July 20 -- Friday, July 23

Times: 10:00 --11:30 am

Ages: 4-6 years

Price: $40 members; $50 non-members

Let your child Museum educator Karan Johnson for four days of art, games, songs and FUN as you discover just how creative he or she can be! Class size is limited, so spaces will be reserved as deposit and registration information are received. Call 793-5644 to register.



Clay Creations

Instructor: Teresa Craig
Dates: August 2 -- August 13
Times: 10:00 am -- 12 pm
Ages: 10-14 years
Price: $95 (includes clay fee)

Explore the endless possibilities of Clay Creations. Learn how to make dynamic assemblages using clay, collages and sculptures. The class also includes drawing and painting. Dress for a mess and bring your imagination! Fee includes all supplies and a snack. Fee is due at time of registration; checks must be made out to Teresa Craig.
