This is an exhibition of diverse paintings and sculptures mostly in the abstract mode. They are done by husband, Robert York, and wife, Nancy Diciolla, whose works are highly divergent but somehow kin. Nancy's highly abstract imagery with subtle symbolism seems to be inspired by nature. She achieves a visual statement by the use of surprising and edgy techniques and materials. Robert's imagery is likewise derived from nature through the use of acrylic paint on canvas or sculptures born of found metals and other materials intuitively joined by welding or by other means.
