Mr. Dawson – former Stanford University Professor - is a guest lecturer from San Francisco, California. He will be traveling from Washington, DC, showing his album to the library of Congress and the Smithsonian before coming to the DMFAH campus to give a presentation on his new album, The Public Library: An American Commons, a photographic survey of more than 17,000 public libraries in the country, featuring essays about libraries and the American
Commons from prominent American writers.
