Artist's Statement

Landscapes, plants, exotic flowers, leaves, fruits; the strength of the colors and the sharpness of the shapes under the tropic's light in my native Colombia have been my constant theme and challenge.

Now, living in the United States, I have found new challenges because of the diversity of seasonal plants, the unique stunning colors of fall, the peacefulness of winter...every day is an observation process to capture the perfection of nature.

“My hope is to transmit through my paintings the huge love, respect, and admiration that nature deserves; having been created by God for our pleasure and benefit”
