Ghosts & Gravestones

Come be a part of history! Ghosts & Gravestones presented by Danville Toyota is an annual tradition produced by the Danville Museum of Fine Arts & History and Smokestack Theatre Company. These historical walking tours take you from the Sutherlin Mansion through the Grove Street Cemetery where you will meet the “ghosts” of our city’s past. These tours are intended for all ages, but parents should use discretion. You will walk through a 200 year old cemetery with bumpy terrain and low lit areas. *Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your tour time to check in. There are 4 tours per evening and all tours must begin on time. Should you arrive late you will be escorted to catch up with your tour group wherever they may be on the tour.*

The use of flash photography and video recording devices is strictly prohibited. Flashlights will be provided, but we ask that you do not shine them on our ghosts as you will scare them away!

The Danville Museum of Fine Arts & History and Smokestack Theatre Company are nonprofit organizations and all proceeds from these tours go back into further funding.
