Throw Paint at Cancer is a free, peer to peer support program for cancer patients and survivors to express themselves through art, brought to the community by The Cancer Research and Resource Center of Southern Virginia.  The series consists of continuing eight week sessions meeting every Thursday from 3-5 p.m. beginning Thursday, November 16, 2017 going through January 25, 2018, with no classes on November 23, 2017, December 28, 2017,  and January 18, 2018, at the Danville Museum of Fine Arts & History Swanson Studio. No previous art experience is required. There is no cost to sign up and all supplies are provided. Instructor is artist, preservationist and cancer survivor Cynthia Hubbard, MFA.  There is a waiting list available please contact Cancer Resource Center at 421-3060 or email:
