Gallery Conversation Led by Glenn Scarboro

July 19th at 7:00pm

Danville Museum of Fine Arts & History proudly presents The Light in Fog:  Glenn Scarboro Photographs a Retrospective, opening June 8, 2018 in the museum’s Jennings and Schoolfield Galleries and auditorium.  Scarboro has pursued his interest in photography since 1962.  In high school, he was photographer for The Commercial Appeal, Danville’s weekly newspaper.

A practicing psychotherapist for many years, Scarboro continuously practices the photographic arts as well.  One of his statements on photography is, “Light is the poetic reminder of faith.”

The Light in Fog exhibition demonstrates photography’s capacity for discovery. The public is invited to come discover this photography exhibition at a preview reception on June 8 from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at the Sutherlin Mansion, 975 Main Street.  The exhibition will remain on display at the museum through July 29, 2018.
